Decco U.S. Post-Harvest has announced the hire of Gustavo Madriz. Madriz, is based in San Jose, Costa Rica, will serve as a sales agent for Decco and work closely with Decco’s Costa Rican business partner, AGRICENTER.
Madriz earned a degree from leading agronomy school, Instituto Tecnologico de Costa Rica. He brings experience with banana plantations and ten years of experience in pineapple production to Decco. Previously, Madriz worked with DOLE Costa Rica.
In the past, Madriz has conducted research focusing on increasing the quality of fruit that is to be exported throughout the world. Having Madriz on the Decco sales team will help increase the availability of Decco Post-Harvest products in Costa Rica, Central America and the Caribbean.
Madriz is excited to be working with a company that allows him to represent a country that is one of the largest producers of pineapple in the world and helps farmers maintain fruit quality post-harvest.
